Each week builds on the last so you can gain confidence, learn simple techniques, and actually see progress. Small group, step-by-step guidance, and a relaxed, supportive environment.

Supplies: Bring a sketchbook, pencil (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), and a Kneaded eraser.
Optional Kit: A simple starter kit is available for $30 if you’d rather not shop for supplies.

Instead of focusing on individual flowers, this class is all about composition—how to place your flowers, add leaves, and create movement so your paintings feel natural, balanced, and expressive. We’ll begin with a few guided exercises to help you loosen up your brushwork, simplify your shapes, and let watercolor do more of the work. Then you’ll apply those techniques to create your own loose floral piece, building from a few simple flowers into a full arrangement. This is not a pre-drawn class. You’ll be painting more freely and focusing on how everything works together rather than following a step-by-step template. This class is a great continuation of Part 1 and is best suited for students who already feel comfortable painting basic watercolor flowers and are ready to grow their style.
