Hi, I am Megan. and LOVE to teach art!

I create one of a kind mixed media sculptures , paintings of flowers, dresses and animals mostly.

 

I help people get more creative with mixed media art classes. I help women deal with anxiety and stress while exercising their intuition. I want to help people get exactly what they are looking for the perfect gift for someone special. I hope to bring more feminine energy into their lives by classes and home décor.

I have a Bachelors of Fine art in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta. I worked as a web designer teaching and designing hospital websites. Then decided that I needed to do what I loved and became a full time Mixed Media Artist.

I love teaching  art for children and adults at my home and various other places around town.  And when I am not teaching or in my home studio I can be found watching TV with my hubby and my puppy Lilly. I also like to read romance novels or business books by the pool on my kindle. (I love books but my husband says I can't bring anything else into our house - he's kind of a neat freak - I'm NOT!) If I am not watching TV or by the pool, I am probably at Michaels buying more art supplies hence the reason I can't buy any more books.

  1. My man and I are high school sweethearts.
  2. We dated 7 years before we got married and on our first Christmas I found out we had to decorate for Christmas. Since then we started Gill's Bright Lights and own 100k Christmas Lights and have won awards for our light show. You can find more about that at www.gillsbrightlights.com.
  3. I love me some Chocolate Chip Cookies - Love them!
  4. I only drink water - like all the time - like no really it’s the only thing I drink!
