Art Studio Intern 2024 August 19 2024

 I’m looking for a creative, organized, and punctual intern to assist in preparing for art classes and managing studio tasks. If you love art and want to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant and creative environment, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Prep for art classes, including taping paper onto dry erase boards and drawing outlines.
• Prepare watercolor dot cards and gather supplies for classes.
• Assist with creating Canva designs for advertisements.
• Prep artwork with hooks and hanging materials.
• Paint blocks with a base coat.
• Organize art supplies.
• Help assemble art kits for sale.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong drawing skills; experience with watercolor and painting is a plus.
• Attention to detail, neatness, punctuality, and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and Canva is a plus.
• Must be able to share a portfolio with 2-3 pieces of artwork.
• A resume is required.

Details:

• Hours: 2-3 hours per week, preferably Monday and Wednesday between 2-5:30 PM, with some flexibility.
• Pay: $12.50 per hour.
